FAQs

Install Questions

How much does professional installation cost?

Install prices vary by job size and location, but typically range from $1,200-$3,500 for a standard residential AC or furnace swap. The installer gives you a flat quote upfront so there are no surprises.

What if I already have my own installer?

That's totally fine -- many of our customers buy from us and use their own contractor. We give you the equipment delivered, you handle the install. No requirement to use our network.

What does the installer do exactly?

A standard install includes removing your old unit, setting and connecting the new one, charging the refrigerant lines, wiring, startup testing, and hauling away the old equipment. Specifics vary by job.

What if something goes wrong with the install?

Every installer in our network warranties their workmanship. If there's an issue with the install itself, they'll come back and fix it. Equipment defects are covered by the manufacturer warranty.

Do you install in my area?

We currently have installer partners in Minnesota and Southwest Florida (Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Naples). Outside those areas, we'll deliver the equipment and you can hire a local pro.
